I would like to be able to do some editing and such in Pro Tools M-Powered without hooking my Firewire 1814 up to my MBP. Is this possible? Is there a way to make the Mac think that the Firewire 1814 (or some other M-audio device) is connected without having to connect it? I'd just like to be able to run Pro Tools without having to actually be fully setup
Thanks! |

There is no way that I know of to use M-Powered without one of the M-Audio products listed on their website.
Unless you can use Pro Tools free for OS 9.x |

Buy an M-Audio Transit USB. For around $80.00 you have 2 inputs and 2 outputs for use with Pro Tools M-Powered. It has digital inputs as well if you wanted to use a better set of converters. I use it as my mobile rig with my Powerbook and love it. Peace.

Was there a driver update for the Intel cores with the Transit? This post has been edited by Drummer519: Mon 7 Aug 2006, 20:42 |
