how can i make a mac g4 laptop running Logic 7 and a Roland VS 2480 with a R-bus card work together???

Since there are no more RPC-1 R-Bus PCI card sold separately and I don't think there are any OSX Tiger's driver for it you may perhaps look for a second hand one if you run an older OS.
You may use too a Roland DIF-AT 24 which converts 8 R-Bus channels to 8 ADAT channels (or Tascam) if your sound card has ADAT inputs. Which sound card do you use with Logic ? Laurent. |

You may want to sync them together too, MTC works fine with VS as Master.
