which hard drive should i use for running my software samplers[kontakt,intakt and battery] within logic 6?,should i use the internal drive on my powerbook g4 1ghz,or my external firewire? .doe's it make any difference to the performance?

That depends on weather your firewire drive is with you all the time you use your laptop. If so I would have the sampler app's on main/system drive and have all sample libraries on the the external drive.
