This is all very well, but the problem is that I cannot find an OSX compatable Z4 operating system update! V. infuriating!!!!
Still, just another few months to wait then I guess... |

 i have loaded this on my g5 and it reads my s6000 ok but when it coems to saveing my multi from the akai to my mac it wont (check box) tick the program box ? so i have to save my multi + programs + samples all seperatly ? (sooooo anoying) has any one els come across this problem ?????????? please help

When trying to load from my mac, I'm unable to check the "Load Dependants" box, which means you'd have to load all programs and samples separately - that's a dealbreaker. Also, when saving a multi, I'm unable to check the "Save Programs" box. Also a dealbreaker. I can't believe this got out of the shop like this! I e-mailed akai support but haven't gotten a reply yet ...

I just bought an Akai s5000 and wish to use it in conjunction with th AK.Sys software. I downloaded it from Akai's web site, but it seems to be just an empty browser window with no features.
This is my first dabbling in to this arena, so maybe I'm missing something... Do I need a seperate editing program in order to use AK.Sys? -or- Is the download faulty? -or- Am I downloading an update to a program I don't have? |
