Hi everybody, (My first post) I'm about to get rid of my PC to buy a Powerbook G4... Finally!! The exact config I thought of buying is: Powerbook G4 15" 1,33GHz, 1.25go RAM, Quatafire 610, external firewire hardrive (120go 7200t 8mo cache)... Since I'm a doubtfull guy (and not rich), I want to be EXTRA-sure that I'll be able to record (overdub) about 24 audio tracks (one at a time) and playback 12 sampler instruments tracks on logic pro 6. Here are some questions: Is the new driver of the Quatafire for OS X working fine? I heard that there is some limitations on the hardware use (of the quatafire), if it's true what are they? Will the hd, cpu handle the tracks I need to run? And finally, what do you think about my config at all? Thank you very much!!
