What is a good site to buy music from? Is it best to buy cds and rip them or to buy mp3 online? I currently use vwfilms.com for buying cd's. The do not offer downloadable mp3 files for sale. What is a good site for this?

Try mp3.com they have cuts from major artist, but it's mainly a portal for the independent musician.

MP3's are nice but I would rather buy the CD and then rip to MP3's. MP3's are compressed audio and though they sound pretty good... they still don't compare to the quality you get from a CD and its always nice getting CD art and lyrics and such about the band.
You can also try emusic.com and peoplesound.com for mp3's as well. Emusic.com will give you free trial in which you can download 50 songs for free I think and lots of big name artists but mostly older songs from older albums. -------------------- ----------------------------------------
