I have an external SCSI drive for storing audio data that 10.2 does not recognize. Is there some utility that will solve this?

you have to re-format the drive as hfs+ or"extended format".
back it up and re-format/re-place. presto! -------------------- one for all and all for one...

The drive is formatted in the Mac extended formatt. There seems to be a need for SCSI drivers under 10.2 so that the drive can be mounted. The docs suggest this in the description of firmware updates but I am not sure of where to get the driver.

Sorry for the slow reply. I have a Glyph ADVUW SCSI card but none of the utilities you mentioned.

the driver will be at apple/osx/downloads.
check the glyph site for updates as well. it's well worth buying hdt or similar too... -------------------- one for all and all for one...
