Looking to get audio into a new Mac Pro Tower thru USB. All I need is a way to connect a stereo phono preamp (and its two RCA outputs) to a USB A/D converter of some sort. I'm not recording thru mics or multi track devices, so the usual Apogee Duets, M-Audio, etc, aren't for me, neither is the Griffin iMic. There's gotta be some simple way (OK, I can default to the 1/8" miniplug input built into my Mac) that is of very high quality. Any suggestions? I saw a device called an Altoedge USB, anyone know much about it? Many, many thanks in advance!
