I am planning to replace my expensive ProTools HD2 and G4 with Logic 6 Pro and Pbook 17", and the question is: What is the best AD/DA interface for the new configuration? I want to create 5.1 mixes and listen in 5.1. I use condenser microphones that need 48V power, and I can live with only two line inputs and one MIDI inn and out. I read about the new M-Audio Audiophile interface (Firewire). What do you think?
