I'm a DJ and i'm looking to do a mix cd. What software do i need to be able to record from my decks to the G4?
Also i will need a CD Burner, any advice on which one to get? |

The built in sound system of your mac will do the job but it's considered low end, meaning it has a bad signal to noise ratio, and it's totally unacceptable in professional situations.
It depends on how professional your intentions are. As I said it will certainly do the job but the sound recorded on your hard disk will be less clear and a little blurry compared to the sound recorded with a good audio card. I've got an RME Digi96 PAD with two in's and two out's (analog) which is not so expensive and perfect for dj situations. |
