I'm sure everyones sick of answering questions like this but I haven't managed to find enough info yet to satiate my needs. I'm getting a new G4 soon and am looking to set it up somewhat for recording vocals, guitar and synth. I'm curious what suggestions you all have for a sound interface in the $500-1000 price range. Much thanks in advance..

It SHOULD be on the macos 9 forum!
(read the subtitles of the forums, it's pretty clear, audio cards are mac hardware. But I won't be picky this time, want to go to bed)
