I'm looking to convert MP3s and WAV files to MIDI format, and then to convert the MIDI onto sheet music. Does anyone know of any cheap but reliable software that I can download for Macs? I'm hoping I can find a free simple converter software to download but I don't know of any. I just need to be able to have scores of songs quickly without having to recreate them myself completely using a notation software. I searched on the Web but most were only for Windows.

I'm surprised that there is no software that can take a very simple midi file and convert it to sheet music. Well then do you know of any cheap or free software where I can just play on my MIDI keyboard that would transfer to a score? I don't want to spend too much to buy like Sibelius or Finale but I'm basically trying to make my life easier to transfer simple songs onto a score. I have a whole bunch of songs that are not available in a score that I have to arrange for my a cappella group and it's so time consuming to add vocal percussion parts, and five other vocal parts from a 5 minute song onto a score... Anyone have any easier recommendation than typing parts note by note?
