is anybody familiar with this device? i am planning on using this with either dp4 , logic express or cubase sx. will i need to buy a compressor or does these programs proved a compressor? i am new at this so i am not sure what goes with what...any help would be great

Sorry of my english, cos' I'm spanish.
I'm running motu 828 mkII on a powebook 867 mhz (640 ram) with cubase SX and no problems.
I've been recording live a group with the help of a mixer
12 tracks (44 khz-24 bits) at time without problems.ç
It's a very good interface.

Cubase SX have compresors to edit your tracks and i think all the programs must have any.
