Hi. I am just about to take the plubge and buy a G5 DP1.8 but the thing that is really bugging me is display choice. Is it true that you can in fact use any display (with the right type of connectors obviously)? Or do you need a monitor that is apple compatible? Theoretically I realise that I can use any monitor but I can't afford to buy a monitor that won't work with the G5. I was looking in particular at the LG L1710S. Any suggestions to other monitors would also be helpful.
Thanks KaiKProd |

Yes you can, you'll have to get an adaptor as you say.
Perhaps you will not be able to access all possible screen resolutions, but you should be able to acces all the standard ones with no probs. (800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1400x1050, 1600x1200 up to the limits of your graphics card and monitor - whichever comes first) Cheers: Dixiechicken -------------------- ==================
