M-Audio Transit
Hi, I am considering this interface as a cheaper alternative to something like the tascam us-122 which is a bit too expensive at the moment. I think i can manage with the limited functions it offers, all i need now is some confirmation that it'll run fairly stable... anyone tried this interface before? I think I'm going to get logic express 6 at some later point in time, do you think this will work with that too? Thanks for any help! Apt |

Well, I own an M-audio SONICA usb, which looks a lot like the transit except it doesn't have any input possibilities.
And I can testify that it sounds great. I mainly use it for recording digitally onto my minidisc player and to listen to music on my mac, but at 96Khz and 24bit - you can tell the difference! But if you were considering the tascam us-122, the transit seems a bit simple & limited! Here's a good tip: Go to m-audio.com and just download the driver for the transit, it'll give you an idea of what options it has! (in 'system preferences') HBJR |
