Anyone know how to create a cool robotic sound or voice or any cool robot fx on mac softsynths, softsamplers, or effects? I have Reason, so if you have any suggestions using the FX or other software on Reason, that would be great. Thanks! blink.gif

No need for additional software. Open up Simple Text or Text Edit in OSX and type what you want your robot to say. Then highlight the text and choose Edit/Speak. You can choose your type of voice in your system prefs under "speach" (osx) Zardox is probably what you want.

Also, for fun, go to your local toy shop and I'm sure you can find a "robot voice" toy. There used to be toys called "Megamouths" that are GREAT for fun voice madness. I like to hold them up to my guitar pickups and go straight in to my processor/amp sim.
