I'm looking to double my RAM from 512MB to 1Gig in my 1rst generation quicksilver 867 (single processor.) I know I need PC133 SDRAM, but can I get any SDRAM, or does it HAVE to be mac-compatible? (can I get it from a PC store and not have to pay Mac prices?)

Unfortunately, the Apple Canada store doesn't sell memory on it's own. I found an Apple distributor at my school (has educational discounts) and they sell 512MB Micron Ram for about $120 U.S... Anybody have nasty memories of Micron Ram??? (Ohhh... the pun!) d, |
