i just upgraded my g3 with a new 533 mhz processor and OS x. i installed a usb card but my problem is that i have MOTUs midi express which has a serial port. will i be able to plug into OS X and DP 4 via the serial port? do i have to buy a new interface? what about iMate?

You need one of these
This replaces your internal modem port with a serial port. See Compatibility List |
