Hi,
I have Logic Audio 6.3 on Mac OsX. I can't properly use Absynth because I can't control it with my Midi Master Keyboard...I have a UM-4 Midi Interface, and nothing appears on the Absynth audio&midi set up Menu..!!? I'm quite blocked now because I can't play Absynth, it's such a nightmare having these really nice Virtual Synths and not being able to use it !!! Can anyone help me out with this one ?!! Thanks a lot ! ![]() |

QUOTE I didn't know that a AU version of Absynth existed !? To install an AU you just need place in the Library Component, right ? Download the updater from Native Instruments The Current verion is 2.0.4. You need to run the installer, it will put all the files in the right locations. You will need to have registered with N.I. to be able to download the file. I'm assuming you own Absynth version 2. QUOTE If I just want to use it as external instrument...I can't control it with my Midi Keyboard...do you know why ? Do you know how Absynth works ? In Absynth, if you open Setup>Audio and MIDI settings then click on the MIDI tab on the window that opens, you should see "Input Interface" and "Output Interface" sections. If you have installed your UM-4 driver correctly it should appear in the input and output sections. Make sure you turn on the input port that corresponds to your port on the UM-4 to which your keyboard is connected. The latest version of the UM-4 driver can be downloaded here. |
