I have the following:

Mac G4 TiBook
OS9
Logic 6.0
MOTU 828 MK2

Am I blind? I can not get Logic to send and recieve midi data from my 828 MK2? It does it automatically in OSX. But in OS9 there is nothing. What do I do? The only midi options in Logic are for USB and Parallel port, not firewire.

Help!!

The 828's MIDI I/O doesn't work on OS9.
It works on OS X only. wink.gif

do you mean only the 828 mk II?

i'm thinking of getting the older 828, and i am planning on using it's firewire for OS9. will that work?

thx
