Hi. Looking for a recomendation for something like Sonic Foundry's Acid that I can use on Mac. I edit video on Final Cut Pro and want to be able to add a few ambient tracks.
I am on a learning curve with Music programmes. I want to start with something simple but, if I am lucky, useable in my video edits. Any advice greatly appreciated thanks |

Downloaded both Groovemaker and Live....but I couldn't get any audio out of Live. Groovemaker is a dream...a fantastic interface. I suspect that these programmes may be predominantly dance music orientated. The thing I liked about acid was the the ambient tracks it had available. Ambient music is exactly what I am looking for. Does Live have a good capacity in this regard? If I get a sampler programme do I also need to get a mixing programme as well (Pro tools?)?
