I have a apple dual gig that I am running with dp3 and an 896 and it keeps freezing on me. I have tried everything to fix the problem including the whole list of things motu sent me to try. I have took my computer to Macauthority here in Nashville who is an authorized apple service center and they have ran every test you can imagine and everything seems to check out fine. I got the computer back yesterday and nuked the hard drive. I re-installed os version 9.2.2 and also re-installed DP3 with all of the latest drivers for the 896. It worked for a few minutes and then immediately started freezing again. I called tech support again and talked with someone who suggested maybe installing my pci card and running from my 2408 which I did and had the same problem. I feel like I have pretty much exhausted all of my options and am at my wits end with this. I don't know what to do? I feel like I am pretty knowledgeable with all of this and do not feel like I have overlooked anything. Can you please help!

http://www.macmusic.org/forums/topic.cgi?f...rum=1&topic=678 If it doesnt help: Re-build your config from scratch: reformat, install a clean OS (9.04 if possible), 9.1 if not possiblle, 9.2.x if not possible Lean form the tips listed in my previous post... Try diferent PCI slots for your PCI card (this sometimes resoles strange problems...) if this doesnt work (with no other thir party card), exchange your mac ;-) -------------------- Soif, MacMusic Webmaster
