Just got my ReMOTE 25 from Novation. Seems like a nice piece of gear, but I stupidly assumed that by the time I got it, the drivers for Mac would be ready. Not so, it seems. So now it's just a silvery piece of plastic with knobs and keys. My PowerBook is able to power it through USB so the LEDs light up all pretty, but that's about it.
Anybody heard anything as to when to expect these drivers? "Summer 2003" is the official word. I wish they would post beta drivers (like M-Audio does) so you at least could get some basic funtionality out of it. /Fikonhjul |

Just in case anyone is taking notes, still no OS X drivers and no response from Novation's customer service as to when to expect them.
If you're shopping for a mini-keyboard, go with M-audio (con: not buspowered) or the new babies from Roland. They're less expensive, and both these companies seem to have more active customer relations and agressive development cycles (releasing public betas or having software ready when hardware ships etc). |
