i have a feeling my question is either VERY simple to answere or altogether impossible. here goes;

i want to know if there is software (or preferrably a freerware) for RECORDING AUDIO FILES THAT COME DIRECTLY FROM THE WEB.

first example, as far as i know a realaudio or a quciktime file is unrecordable to my hardrive unless you pay for the full version, but thats what i need to do.

second expamle, there is a site that probably uses a flash audio file that i also want to record to my hardrive.

i am relativly new to the world of midi and sampling so if this is an easy one maybe you can give me a break.

thanks.

p.s. i am on OS9 and i do not have a mic.

It's OSX only.... same with Ambrosia's Wiretap, which is free. So, if you upgrade to OSX (or for anyone else out there) you can grab it here.
