I am not aware of any such software that will convert audio music to midi format... and if it does become available... that will be one hot item. From what I know about midi... all the midi files that you may have already found on the net that are popular songs were programmed by someone using a midi sequencer. Hence some of them are not the most accurate but then again some people spend lots of time on these and can make some really good ones as well.
If you want to start programming midi songs yourself... I suggest getting a copy of Logic Audio, ProTools, Cubase or you might find a couple shareware apps that are cheaper and accomplish same thing. Also, be aware that midi files that were not purchased from original artist or publisher are considered illegal. Many midi sites on the net have been shut down for this reason. Be creative and construct your own midi song for your web site... that will keep you free and clear from lawsuits and I must admit that most midi files I have heard of popular songs just seem cheesey and really are more irritating than pleasing. -------------------- ----------------------------------------
