Help, removing voice on a song, Windows XP related

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 02-Apr 03 From: Littlehampton - UK Member No.: 15,447	Hi, I was wondering if someone could please help me! I don't know if I am in the right place but I was pointed in this direction. Firstly I have Windows XP. I was wondering if anyone had a program that could take the words out of the song but still have the background music? The problem is for my sister's dance project she is going to use the song "Mack The Knife" but she doesn't want the words just the accomplying music. Does anyone know how this can be done? what programs (free is possible) can do this? Thanx in Advance Terry

Practically if you do the same on your files you end up with a mono file without the voice if it is exact center and mono (the voice), now… There are plug ins that do these things but right now here… (and on a PC But a little search on google (voice cancellation) gave me THIS, it should do your job with a complete walkthrough by hand in an editor.
