Hi, I have an iMac Power PC G3 and I'd like to make my own techo/dance music. I really liked the look of the eJay series however it's only available on the PC.

My question is are there any programs like eJay on the Mac? What I want is a program featuring lots of samples, ease of use (drag sample's to screen and place them where I want them) and covering a wide range of dance music (i.e. trance, acid, ambient, hip-hop ect). I'm a beginer so nothing to hard!!! lol

I'd also like to convert my songs on to CD-R, do most programs allow you to convert your song files into the file needed for this?

Thank you in advance for anyone answering my questions :-)

David.

Say what? I am pretty sure that Imacs never ran wih 406 processors (i think 233mhz G3 was the slowest and first).... they never came out until G3 processor was available. Do you have the first Imac prototype found at an apple reps garage sale or something?

Also, is there a reason you are telling us this little bit of info or are you just trying to stir up the forums to see who would catch this?

Oh and to help with the topic. Groovemaker is the easiest (and maybe cheapest) app to make the music you seek but Reason is definitely the best overall app since you can use samples, drum machine, loops, synth and midi. It may take a little more time to master it though.
