I use Protools Free to edit together my DJ mix sets. When I bounce the final edited layout to disc (File / Bounce To Disc) I am finding the new file to be slightly louder than the original unedited files (AIFFs). I usually try to record as close to 0db as possible. With the mystery added volume I am getting clipping and distortion in the final mix. Just to be clear, I am not using the "Squeezer".
Can anyone suggest any way of stopping this? Cheers DJ Anton |

Make sure you're not Bouncing with the Mono option checked... That would be 3dB more than your original stereo mix (and that would be mono...which is not that great).
Choose Stereo Interleaved. -------------------- |
