Basically, to save you the trouble of me wording it badly, I've made a video to explain my troubles. Any help is much appreciated, as this is massively frustrating.

there is no solution. i watched your video. clearly, you've got it set up correctly. it's playing sound in GB.
a client had a similar problem. he'd bought a (very inexpensive) USB to MIDI cable. it behaved exactly as yours is doing when i installed it on his system. i happened to have my Maudio UNO interface with me at the time, which does use a driver. i installed it, we tried it out, and everything worked beautifully. it's possible that your cable would be lovely on a Windows system, but it's never going to satisfy on your mac. i recommend an UNO or MOTU Fastlane... something in the $50 range, probably. good luck. |
