The new stuff in Garageband 09 sounds good. the lessons feature sounded fun. until I clicked on the 'Lesson Store' and read - 'The Learn to Play feature requires an Intel-based Mac with a Dual-core processor or better'
 the new Mac isn't in the budget till next year. |

i've seen references to a workaround for ppc macs. you can run the lessons manually by opening from their location at;
/Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Learn To Play/ This is from a post here at macfixit.com i'm not using GB'09, so i haven't tested it. Sorry about the occasional lowercase caps. my left shift key is dead.. -paul |
