How bad will my guitar sound if I just use http://www.valleyseek.com/product.action?itemID=19616
one of these cables and not use an Mbox of sorts. I have Protools and other amp sound tools? [please, no plain email address in the forum, see rules. There's a safe email link thru the menu on each member's username on the left of posts  LPM]

Much much better. i use, among other things, the gearbox gold bundle. (look for it, about the same price if it's still available)
great emulations, and a DI box. now you're talkin. |
