I'm such a beginner! I can't get any output from the external speakers on my mac g4 10.4.11 using garageband and my tascam 122l. I can record without the output and save and the track and play it in I tunes, but I can't add a track while listening to the recorded track on the external speakers in garageband. When I choose monitor "on" it doesn't recognize the output volume. I'm such a beginner. Can anyone help?

Aloha ! have you set up you audio on GB preferences?if not clic on Garage Band on the top menu then chose preferences>audio/midi > audio out put>built in audio
