hi all,

back in the days of OS9 i used the free Protools software (LE?) to record midi using my yamaha piano & midiman interface.

Are there any free equivalents that I can 'record' midi on OSX?

apologies for the noob question!!

Well every mac's comes with Garageband so that's a nice start.

Furthermore you can find a lot of midi tools at: http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/mac/MIDI_PLAYERS_UTILITIES/
