Hello....
I will be running Logic Studio on iMac 20" 2.16. Korg keyboard, Kirtzweil Micro Piano, and possibly the Yamaha Drum machine. Has anyone had experience with Logic Studio and Apogee Duet? The Duet does not have faders... looks like a knob.. Apple says it is designed for Logic... I am also looking at PreSonus Firebox with Alpha Track USB controller.. Will appreciate your ideas. Also... What firewire external Hard drive is the Best for audio production on the iMac? (Firewire, 7200, size GB? manufacturer?) Thanks, sounds2me -------------------- [FONT=Impact][SIZE=4]

Hi:
Regarding Logic Studio 8....I have mine resting on a table until I spare some time between proyects...It is kind of install-panic......But it will come and for sure, it would be great (I hope...). Talking about Duet.... I don´t know....all those cable hanging around with lots of female connectors from older days.....that little multipin al the back, remembering Adats.....and it is no a cheap device...US$ 495,00... ! Maybe the new TC Electronic´s Konnekt Live could be a better choice..... No doubt that there is a reputation when we think in Apogee.....But I´m still not so convinced.....or articulated... I just wish that the guy with the FW410 problem could solve it and make music in peace.. |
