hi everyone- i would like to use a drum pattern in ultrabeat to trigger a synth track. i only want the synth track to create sound at the same time as the drum pattern. how should i go about this? what effects do i need to put on what tracks? are there multiple ways to achieve the same effect? thanks in advance to all the producers out there...

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly, but it sounds like all you have to do is:
Copy the drum pattern from Ultrabeat into the arrange window: Simply click and drag the small textured box on the lower left part of the Ultrabeat window to an empy Audio Instrument Track in the Arrange Window. Then assign whatever synth you want to that track and it will play the midi region. Hope that helps |
