Can someone tell me exactly which extensions or what version of Quicktime is required for the "Movie " import function in (my case Logic and Peak) to work- the only way I can import audio from CD's is through Toast audio extractor which crashes my computer (also why?).

this could be related to the early conflicts between itunes and toast.
around that time i found that i couldn't monitor t.a.e, i stopped using it at that time and haven't used it since! i'll check it out...
