hi i know the answer to my problem is probably rightin front of my nose, but i can't seem to get garageband and my digi 002 to work together. i have the core audio driver but it will not recognize that the digi is connected to my iMac g5. i don't get it what is wrong?

ok here is a new problem, i have sound and all and the latency is good but i was just recording and in the middle of the measure i got a feedback loop and the digi lost connection and made some clicking noises. i think that the hardware might be damaged in some way. any advice?
