Does any one know if there is away to get my
G4 1.2ghz iBook (OSX 10.3.9) to be able to run with the lid/cover/ screen in the closed position without it going into sleep mode? I Ask since I do Live recordings and often it would be great if I could start recording and then close the cover and stow the iBook away, since I can monitor any clippin levels on my presonus firebox.... I thought I heard that this couldbe possible... thanx ![]() -------------------- ~ Archival Audio ~

I believe that the Screen Spanning Doctor has an option for allowing the computer to remain awake whilst the lid is closed. Called "clam shell mode".... i think...
http://macparts.de/ibook/ This page is also interesting: http://home.earthlink.net/~mrob/pub/ibook.html But I sold my iBook a while ago for a MacBook Pro, so I can't remember specifics... Matt -------------------- |
