I have been playing with various audio packages on my G4.
I have been lucky enough to acquire another G4 and would like to link both of them together to get the most from my home studio. My main package is Pro tools 7. I also have a couple of other programs that I use occasionally. Am I limited to just sharing files between the 2 computers if I connect them with an ethernet cable or can I get one of them to share a bit of the load when I'm working? Any help or guidance would be welcome - I am afraid that I am not very competent in this area. Thanks |

No way to offload cpu if your'e using PTLE, you could set one up as a host for virtual instruments, and use the other for sequencing and recording.
