Does anyone know what the state of play is? I know it's early days, but Reason has been an OSX app for a while, and Propellorhead say that Emagic have the info to employ Rewire 2.
Also, I don't understand why Emagic haven't done a drum machine. Guess I'll have to stick with Cubase in OS 9 for a while longer ![]() |

Here's the wonderfully illuminating answer I got today from Emagic tech support to my question about future support for ReWire:
Emagic Technical Support has no advanced knowledge of product development and shipping dates. Please keep checking www.emagic.de for announcements and updates. Emagic Inc. Technical Support Well, that's much clearer now, thanks. ![]() Logic 5.3 is great and I love having it running in OS X, but it looks like we'll just have to wait a while longer for ReWire. Or use Cubase SX in the meantime. |
