I 'm running ProTools LE with an MBox on a 466 G4. Sometimes when I'm mixing a session or worse, when in the middle of recording, I get this horrible crackling noise, the song freezes, and I get an error message stating I need to increase my USB Buffer size. I DID THIS, BUT IT DIDN'T HELP! AAAAHHH! It also says for me to delete tracks and/or turn off some effects, but that's absurd! Those actions would be contradictory to the purpose of recording itself, WHat the HELL?!?! It will even do this after I only had TWO tracks running and NO effects at all! I don't get it, and I'm about to throw my MBox through my new 17 inch monitor. UGH!

DON'T THROW IT THROUGH MONITOR!!!!!
just throw it to me... I will take good care of it for you ![]() try changing the buffer in the DAE app that runs in the background with PT LE... change it to something like 2 I think. Also... give the DAE app more memory to work with by using get info>memory. You might even try giving PT a little more memory too. -------------------- ----------------------------------------
