 Cubase Sx3, Below par processing on a g4 |

I have recently bought a G4 ibook, and have got Cubase SX3 along with Hypersonic 2.
In addition to this i use an Edirol FA-66 firewire interface. When recording audio tracks on sx3 the program becomes very slow and fails to process audio tracks after recording about 4 separate audio tracks. It would appear that the computer is too slow to process the audio, even though it is a brand new g4 ibook. Any suggestions on how to fix this? |

If you're using the internal hard drive to record audio it's quite normal you meet closely some kind of brick wall fast.
 - Have you installed more than the 512 MB of RAM? if not, you should as fast as you can. - Use an external Hard Drive for the audio files.
