Hey everybody,

Thus far my studio is in its infancy, sporting solely an iMac and a Ion USB turn table. My question is this: what other key components should I be looking at?

I am going to get Logic pro (eventually) but don't know when to buy it. Do I buy a fire/m-box or do I spend money on a sick mixer or logic pro? When should I get speakers? etc...

Also, any suggestion on the order of purchase and what I need to purchase?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Basically you will need an audio interface, an external 7200rpm 8Mb cache firewire hard drive. And do not overlook nearfield monitors, not hi-fi or computer speakers. A selection of microphones. Also max out your RAM if you can.

Also look here for some ideas.
