I recently got a used iMac G5 1.8 gHz desktop (80G internal hard drive and external partitioned 160G hard drive). It came loaded with a bunch of software including Logic Express 7. I have purchased an Mbox 2 with bundled Pro Tools LE 7 software but I was wondering if I can also use the Mbox 2 as my audio interface for recording to Logic Express.

I don't really do MIDI yet so I would mostly be recording vocals, guitars, drums, keyboards, etc.

Thanks for any responses.

Yep...the MBox has "core audio" drivers allowing it to be used as an interface with any software program of your choosing & if I remember right you can use Logic inside of Pro Tools (Not sure how...maybe as a Rewire Slave). If you are just going for the "Band Thing", you may just want to stick with just Pro Tools for a little while as Logic's forte is midi & it does have a significant learning curve.
