Hello,
I like to group channels in busses for example if i put 2 mics and a DI on a bass amp and then bus them to one fader and same with other instruments like guitar if i have more than one mic on a source. This works ok but my problem is there are no aux sends on a bus so i can't add reverb the only way is to add reverb to the send on the single pre bus channels. However as I add all my eq and compression to the bus rather than the single channels this means the reverb i'm getting is of the dry sound. Any ideas or tips round this problem. Is there a better way to do what i'm doing? Many thanks in advance for your help. Ian

i'm reluctant to bounce the tracks as a mix as i like to regain control over the balance all the way through incase i want to tweek.
My problem is the group busses don't have any sends so i can't send to an aux from the group bus. Yeah I could just slap a reverb in as an insert on the bus but i usually just have one reverb on an aux and then send from all my channels unless i want a specific reverb on a snare or vox for instance. I guess i could just use an AUX as a group bus as they are kinda the same but with send facilities. anymore ideas? thanks for your responses. Ian
