hi there, can anyone offer a solution. my fast track does work under tiger. i've checkedthe m-audio site which states the the fast track is class compliant so doesn't need drivers. any ideas??

Now I have been away from the problem for a week I have now found the solution. It does work!
It's obvious when you know. The M-Audio FastTrack is a stereo device offering a single stereo USB audio channel. The mic is placed on the channel 1 and the guitar on channel 2. I was monitoring in mono mode and inadvertantly selecting channel 1. Switching to the stereo/channel 2 mono does the trick. As to audio levels, I'll try a few recordings to see what I make of them. On first inspection they do look a little low. |
