I have tried to search the forums with this issue but cant see it lisyted anywhere. If it has been asnwered before - I apologise for the duplication.

Last night I fired up my new logic Pro 7.1 for the first time and tried to import some audio files from a band demo to remix.

However, Logic would not let me as it stated the sample format was 32-bit (which it is). Does Logic Pro 7.1 not support 32-bit samples?

I am using on board sound for this week as I have not set up my Fireface 800 yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. laugh.gif

different companies uses the extra bits for different info. a cubase 32bit file is different than one generated by DP4. cool.gif

They are not true 32bit files, otherwise we would need 32bit hardware for playback.
