I just got the new iMac 17" and I have loaded on Logic Express and cannot get it to work with my Midi. I use a Midiman controller through a Tascam 122 in thorugh USB. I can get the audio analog part of it to work, but it makes no Midi sound, although it receives the midi message and even records the Midi information, just no midi sound.
Any ideas on this? |

umm... you need something to take the MIDI data and make the sound - an external MIDI synth or a software one (audio instrument tracks!) This is not Garageband here ahahaha
