hi
im new to the forum/agora since i got my first mac with the purpose to use it to work on music, mereally as an hobby
i got in second hand a g3 with os9.2 installed, and other usefull apps as this one to open the cdrom door!... though the os9.2 installation cd wasn't part of the deal
i started by trying to install the free version of Protools, everything ok untill this day it started crashing opening a window saying "error type 2"... later tried to install the free Vision StudioPro, it asked for a font i dont remember the name for able it to work, i got it installed and then the same error that was happening with Protools "error type 2"
any ideas?
thanks in advance

thanks lepetitmartien, i in some way managed to solve the problem...
more or less like this
opened the extensions folder and removed a few ones... it worked but i ended finding it works much better to set the OS to its default extension configuration... anyway i may have problems in the future, and now it takes 2 times more to boot it... naturally with all that those extensions loading eh?

lepetitmartien, how do i allocate memory to an app?
i have 512, it seems to be enough to run what i need and i'm quite happy, but even so i would like to know about it now that you mentioned it

i still have a few questions, some doubts and curiosities, mind you? <grin>
thanks
