I'm new to this forum, so I just want to say first, hi everyone!
I've been doing alot of reading about the new iMAC G4, with it's 2 firewire ports, 3 USB's and fancy adjustable monitor. It all sounds great, but I'm looking for some real world experience with this system using MOTU 896 w/ADAT sync running Digital Performer. I've worked with PC's and audio for a few years and I'm ready to step over to Macs. I've heard the power of the new iMAC G4 is not as strong as advertised (I read a review that said 32 track limit before plug ins, can this be right? ) Also, noisy fan? The Dual G4's sound more impressive but they cost double with monitor. Is it worth saving the cash?Any thoughts?........ |

 glad you enjoy the place, but have you made a search or browse the forums to see if the info you're searching is not already there? I'm sure it is but maybe it's in the french forums…  (now gonna pack my things to go on holiday
